Most of the professors at CCRI require you to cite your sources using either the Modern Language Association (MLA) or American Psychological Association (APA) format.  Check to see if your professor has a preference.

View our guide on Citation Help. It contains information on two products that will create citations and a Works Cited or References page for you: EasyBib and NoodleTools.

We also have copies of the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers and Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association in our reference collections.  They provide guidelines on citing both print and Web resources.

The CCRI Writing Center has handouts on citing sources using the MLA and APA systems and can help you with your writing projects.

You may also want to view the MLA and APA formatting and style guides offered at The Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue University.
